Val d’Isere
Le Signal
This is located at the top of the Le Fornet cable car. Downstairs is an average quality self service. Upstairs is an absolutely super restaurant run by the dynamic Brigit, who remains up-beat, professional and fun from December through to May. The menu is fairly limited, but the quality is excellent. Do not forget there are some items on boards that are not on menu. The wine list which specialises in Rhone and Savoie wines is superb. Have a Condrieu or a Crozes Hermitage.

Le Refuge-
Taking the Solaise gondola you will find the brand new Hotel Refuge du Solaise.. The restaurant opened last season and received rave reviews from our guests. The restaurant boasts stunning views over Val D’Isere. There is always a great plat du jour option and the Pizza’s are excellent. The service is also top notch.

L’Etencelle-
Our neighbour, located just down the piste from La Tene. Beautifully decorated with a mountain
chic with a modern twist. Most of the food is cooked on the fireplace including pizzas and meat classics like cote de beouf. During the spring they sometimes have DJ’s and live music out on the sunny terrace, a great place to spend the afternoon before hitting Cocoricos next door!

Les Tufs
Situated at the bottom of the funicular at La Daille. Broad menu covers all ski holiday
favourites, raclette, tartiflette , pizza and some French classics. Try the
giant tartiflette or the giant tuffs burger! Prices are reasonable and the
service is good. Big sunny terrace for Spring dining.

Le Panoramic
Sat at 3032m on the Grande Motte Glacier with a 360 panoramic view of the mountain tops surrounding. This place is really something special and the food created matches the breath-taking setting of the restaurant. An added bonus is that they whisk your ski boots away to be warmed and provided you with toasty slippers. Also home to a massive and friendly St Bernard dog! Our recommendations would be the cote de boeuf and sucking pork shoulder.

Fermes de Trois Capucines-
Our favourite stop for traditional Savoyard mountain lunch. This is a working farm and you can see the animals through the window into the barn at the back of the restaurant. They produce their own cheese for their Tartiflette and Raclette! We would also recommend the snails in edible shells!

Grizzly Bar
Located in Val Claret close to the bottom of the Tuffs lift. Bizarre collection of memorabilia and paraphernalia in red Indian style. A very different experience! They have a huge fit pit barbeque in the middle of the deck- meat is definetely the speciality here!

Kaya
A new unique venue located in the new complex on the snow front of Le Lac. On the menu the focus is seafood with local influences. The cocktail menu is also something special. Great if you are looking for something a bit different from the many other meat and Savoyard focussed restaurants.

L’Armailly
Situated just across the bridge from Les Brevieres gondola. This restaurant has an extremely broad menu and something for everyone. The service is brisk, prices reasonable and the quality excellent. Best to go here on a good weather day because there is quite a long ski there and back. Great views over the Lac De Chevril on the ski down to Breviere.
